Welcome to “Thinking Outside The Box” Podcast

TOTB Podcast was founded by Jeff Sims, better known as Mr. Moolah Monsta, in 2016. During that time, Moolah would host pop-up shops featuring his clothing line which launched the idea of a Q&A, creating more than just a pop-up shop but a cultural vibe. Bringing together an older generation with young men, formed a vision to inspire the youth on the importance of the decisions and choices they made. It was important to Moolah, to make sure these young men not only see but hear, what making certain decisions could bring into their lives. Terrance “Tea Mack” McClurge, formerly incarcerated for 24 years within federal prison, reached out to Moolah and together the idea of Tea Mack speaking to the youth formed a vision for future endeavors. The conversations/questions between Tea Mack and the young men ignited a lightbulb within Moolah and that’s when “Thinking Outside The Box” was born.

Thinking Outside The Box Podcast is a panel of four black men with different backgrounds and opinions. Hosted by four distinct personalities, we bring together diverse perspectives and unique insights that challenge conventional thinking. The show isn’t just your average podcast, it’s a journey into a realm of ideas where no topic is off limits and no viewpoint is left unexplored. We come together to engage in lively debates and share our perspective on everything from politics, culture, relationships and beyond.

Darius Jenkins, better known as “Holy Grind”, is a gospel rapper and Pastor of Nourishing Waters in Discipleship of Christ. We were already connected business wise so it was a no brainer to add his insight into the podcast. Reggie Coleman, better known as “RMF”, was a business client of mine, would bring his characteristics and charisma as the narrator of the show. Allowing him to do something he had never done, speak in front of a public audience, but he was willing to try something new. Last but not least, BC, better known as Scholar the Philosopher, my childhood best friend, Scholar was there from the start of the pop-up shops, giving his knowledge and insight to the youth. With doubt at first, being unfamiliar with being in the publics eye he agreed and that’s how we formed TOTB. We have a dynamic chemistry, engaging in discussions made for entertaining people of all cultures. While expanding your knowledge we also challenge your opinions and perspectives. We offer a diverse array of viewpoints that will broaden your understanding of the world around you. There is NO TOPIC left untouched, we cover it all because when it comes to TOTB there are no limits.
